First of all please check your dishwasher tablets and detergents, they need to be phosphate free. We've seen a steady increase in the levels of phosphorous in our treated water, and dishwasher tabs are the main cause. Some are >30% phosphate!

Second, there is extra liquid entering the sewer system in the creek flats. If you have a leaking toilet, I'd really like to know that, and your ETA for fixing it.

So I know this has been actioned, please respond with your lot number and ok in the title to mattbinney@hotmail.com. Responses are kept in confidence.

EG Lot 115 OK
or lot 115 leak
or Lot 115 Phos

For those new, and not so new to the village, please review the attached documents.

Thanks,
Matt Binney

Just a reminder about illegal dumping of any green waste (prunings, weeds, garden waste) down opposite the WWTP. Green waste from your lot cannot be dumped there and should be taken to the refuse station along Currumbin Creek Road.
This also includes dumping of any general waste around the bin area. Too often items are left on the ground surrounding the bins, left there for someone else to clean up. Be responsible for your own actions and don't leave it for someone else to clean up.
Someone had dumped a large amount of a powder substance under some green waste which had become airborne whilst we were pushing the green waste into one big pile.
This doesn't create a safe environment for us to work in.
Your co operation would be appreciated.

Due to the building works commencing at the RRR centre, this area is classified as a building zone. This means that no one other than contractors who are working onsite are allowed on site without the necessary covered footwear and high visibility clothing. If you are intending to discuss a matter with myself then you need to organise a time to meet with me.
The builders foreman has asked me to reinforce this message to the community as residents are walking in and out of the site without approval and without the necessary safety clothing. The building zone is quite hazardous and there are many safety issues.
Thank you for your co-operation.

Just a couple of reminders about the Community Centre.
* If you use the pizza oven please make sure you clean up after yourselves. The last few weeks there has been dirty pizza plates and utensils left in the sink besides the pizza oven.
* If you use the kitchen, either the small one or the larger kitchen, any items or utensils that you have used needs to be placed back where they come from. There have been many times that items are left out either in the drying rack or on the benches.
* Can all parents make sure that their kids don't use trikes or any carrying toys to cart sand to other areas of the community centre other than the sandpit area. This creates a mess to clean up and also displaces sand from the sand pit area.
Thank you for your co operation
